Damn, The Killers are such an amazing band. I've been listening to their first album again after spending more than a year with "Sam's Town", and man the old songs are pretty much just as good as anything they've done since then.

i read this quote today and figured others might appreciate.

"A German fighter ace has just learned that one of his 28 wartime 'kills' was his favourite author. Messerschmidt pilot Horst Rippert, 88, said he would have held his fire if he had known the man flying the Lightning fighter was renowned French novelist Antoine de Saint-Exupery."

ps. antoine de saint-exupery wrote the little prince.

The second song on the new Loved Ones sounds like an outtake from Fenix TX's first record.

I never really listened to them after the fat dude left. It wasn't because of that, I just kind of forgot.

Fantastic live band, though.

Couldn't have been worse than Southland Tales. What a glorious piece of shit.

I know how stoked you guys get on BMX videos; but this vid is by far the best quality web edit I've ever seen. It's shot in freaking HD and the production is amazing. I bet even irrational films pops a quarter or even half boner over it. If this doesn't get you pumped, then I will buy you eggs benedict. Then spoon you: http://mutinybikes.com/web-video-2008.html

Yeah it must have been a pain in the ass to shoot it in such high quality. You'd think the set-up would make the video lose some of its spontaneity of street riding:

Mutiny Bikes had a full length video come out at the end of last year as well called "Stoked on Being Pumped". I haven't actually seen it yet since I don't have BlueRay, but the trailer is super rad as well:
