futbol

Anyone stoked on the World Cup this summer? The last one was so much fun to watch, especially in HD. I'm hoping for more headbutts this go-round.

In other news, I was looking at Freddy Adu's twitter page the other day.

I'm glad Joe Cole made the prelim roster for England - he's my favorite player hands down. Sucks that Davies didn't get at least an invite to camp, not really stoked on USA's overall health/talent right now, but I guess anything is possible!

FWIW USA is currently around 80:1 to win the world cup and a very slight favorite to get out of their group.

Too early to tell, especially since I don't know anything about the 8 or so horses that didn't run in the derby. Dublin got a lot of sharp action back when the Derby futures first came out back in like November, so there could be some value in it since I guess it's underperformed since then.

Or just bet the horse that sounds like the best nickname for your wang. Good for the 'stang, good for the wang.

I don't really know and don't have anything I can even compare it to to guess. The olympics, which I'd guess would draw similar interest, can't be bet in Nevada so no reference there. A couple books invite big bets on all the international/MLS games and probably get some interest, but at most places soccer's interest is probably equal to something like arena football or the WNBA.

I'm sure the world cup will be huuuuuuuge internationally and at offshore books, where they already have odds up on damn near everything world cup related.

That is so awesome. Be sure to take lots of pictures and post them on MUP. I've been looking at pictures of the new stadiums and they look amazing.

Yeah this is so rad. You gotta take tons of pictures of everything. Let me and asxyouxwish know what food they are selling inside of the stadium too. ty.
